Engineering software for the real world.
From healthcare and education to enterprise, government and manufacturing, we design and deliver systems built around how organisations actually work — then stay with them for the long run.

Experience built around real business problems
IT Smart Vision is a software engineering company. We have spent more than two decades building systems for organisations whose operations cannot pause while software is figured out — hospitals, schools, factories, retailers, finance teams and public-sector bodies.
That work has a particular character. The requirements are rarely tidy, the workflows are specific to the organisation, the data volumes grow, and the system has to keep running long after launch. We build for that reality rather than for a demo.
- 01Custom systems shaped around existing workflows, not the other way round
- 02Data-intensive applications with reporting that finance and operations trust
- 03Security and cryptography treated as engineering work, not a final checklist
- 04Integrations across devices, third-party platforms and regulatory systems
- 05Cloud, hosting and infrastructure support under one accountable partner
- 06Long-term maintenance and support after the system goes live
Systems that carry an organisation
Twelve areas of practice, delivered individually or as one connected platform.
Domains we understand
Domain knowledge is what separates a working system from a delivered one. These are the sectors whose vocabulary, workflows and constraints we already know.
Systems we have delivered
Each of these is a production system with real users, real data and real operational pressure. Names are descriptive until clients approve publication.
Case studies use descriptive system names. Client names and branded project titles are published only once approved for release.
Why organisations choose us
Not because we are the largest option — because we understand the environment the software has to survive in.
We understand the business
We start with how the organisation runs today — the exceptions, the paper forms, the workaround everybody uses. The system is designed from that, not from a generic template.
We build for scale
Our systems are built to hold growing datasets, multiple departments and multiple locations without a rewrite when volume increases.
Security is part of the engineering
Access control, cryptography and secure integration are designed into the architecture from the start — not added once the system is already in production.
Customisation without losing control
Organisations get the specific behaviour they need while the system stays maintainable, upgradeable and understandable to the next engineer.
Hardware and software together
Scanners, queue displays, imaging equipment, office devices. We work at the point where software has to talk to physical equipment.
Long-term partnership
We stay with the systems we build. Most of our relationships are measured in years, through changes of process, regulation and scale.
Software that connects to the real world
A great deal of business software never leaves the browser. Ours frequently has to reach a device — and that changes how it must be engineered.
Device SDKs and drivers
Working directly against manufacturer SDKs to read, control and integrate equipment into the wider system.
Queue and display hardware
Ticketing, counters and display units delivered as a combined hardware and software installation.
Imaging and laboratory equipment
Connecting diagnostic and laboratory devices to the clinical systems that consume their output.
Procurement and IT support
Hardware sourcing, installation, troubleshooting and ongoing support alongside the software we deliver.
Where systems usually break
Complexity rarely arrives as one large problem. It arrives as several ordinary ones at the same time.
- 01
Concurrent users
Reception, clinical, finance and management staff working in the same system through the same busy hours.
- 02
Data volume
Records that accumulate for years and still have to be searched, reported on and audited quickly.
- 03
Departments
Separate teams with separate rules, permissions and vocabulary sharing one underlying model.
- 04
Locations
Multiple branches or sites that must stay consistent while operating semi-independently.
- 05
Integrations
Regulatory endpoints, devices, third-party platforms and legacy systems that cannot be replaced.
- 06
Reporting
Operational and financial reporting that has to reconcile precisely, not approximately.
The engineering behind the systems
Capability described honestly — what we work with, where our depth is, and how the pieces fit together.
