Laboratory Management System
Request-to-result laboratory workflows, connected to analytical equipment and to the systems that consume the results.

The challenge
A laboratory is a pipeline with strict ordering: request, sample, analysis, validation, result, delivery. Every step has to be traceable, and the analytical equipment producing the results speaks its own protocols. Where the equipment is not integrated, results are transcribed by hand — the single highest-risk operation in the whole process.
The solution
We built the laboratory workflow end to end with equipment integration included rather than deferred. Requests carry through to results with traceability at each stage, analytical devices feed results directly against the correct sample, and completed results are delivered back to the requesting clinician or system automatically.
Core modules
- Test request and sample registration
- Sample tracking through stages
- Equipment result capture
- Validation and approval
- Result reporting and delivery
- Laboratory administration
Engineering
- Integration with analytical equipment via device SDKs
- Sample traceability across workflow stages
- Backend services and result routing
- Integration with clinical systems consuming results
- Access control over diagnostic data
Scale & complexity
- 01Continuous sample throughput
- 02Multiple analytical devices in one workflow
- 03Result history retained and searchable
Capabilities
- Backend systems
- Integrations
- Device SDKs
- Hardware integration
Result
Laboratory requests flow to validated results with equipment feeding directly into the record, removing manual transcription from the process.
